The Building Operators and Managers Association of the Greater Toronto Area (BOMA) selected 67 College Street (Canadian Blood Services) as the winner in its Historical Building category for 2013. These are the 15th Annual Awards for BOMA. The building previously won the Toronto Historical Board Commendation of Adaptive Re-Use.
In 1993, HH Angus worked with Parkin Architects on the 67 College Street project, and provided mechanical and electrical engineering for the conversion of the building into modern laboratories and offices. The BOMA Award is a significant salute to a 20-year old renovation, and speaks to the effectiveness, durability and flexibility of the design and systems engineering. Congratulations to Canadian Blood Services.
