HH Angus and Associates was recently named the mechanical and electrical consulting engineering firm for Penticton Regional Hospital’s new Patient Care Tower. The P3 project involves the design, construction, financing and maintenance of a new patient care tower.
When complete, the Tower will feature an ambulatory care centre, surgical services centre, 84 medical/surgical inpatient beds in single patient rooms, a new medical device reprocessing unit, and program space for the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine. At ~26,700 m2, the patient care tower will improve access to services and improve patient care through consolidation of programs currently dispersed throughout the hospital.
