Construction is now complete on the Viger Avenue tunnel. It connects the future CHUM hospital to its Research Centre, CRCHUM, and provides access to the subway station. The tunnel will be used by hospital staff and the public, and will connect mechanical and electrical services to the Research Centre.
The Viger Avenue Tunnel project had a 16 week work schedule, but was completed in only 14 weeks. Phase 1 of the CHUM project is on schedule, and expected to meet its target completion date of the end of 2015.
